1. Scope of Services
New Home Cleaning provides residential cleaning and related services as agreed at the time of booking. Services are limited to the scope selected by the client and do not include tasks not expressly agreed to in advance.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, approving a quote, or continuing to use our services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, including any applicable addendums.

Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time, including providing correct entry instructions, alarm codes, and securing pets.
If our team is unable to access the property for any reason beyond our control, the visit may be treated as a same-day cancellation.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late or failed payments may result in service suspension and recovery of reasonable administrative or collection costs.
In the event of a chargeback or reversed payment, the client remains responsible for the full service amount plus any third-party fees or reasonable administrative costs incurred.
Invoices not paid within 5 days of the service date may be subject to a late payment charge of up to 2% per month (24% annually), calculated monthly, to recover administrative and financing costs.
We reserve the right to suspend services until outstanding balances are paid.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
If the client is dissatisfied with a service, they must notify us in writing within 24 hours of service completion.
Where appropriate, and at our discretion, we may arrange a re-clean of the affected area.
In limited circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we may offer a service credit toward a future cleaning in lieu of a re-clean.
Labour and completed services are non-refundable.
7. Pricing & Rate Adjustments
Rates are based on service type, frequency, property condition, and scope of work at the time of booking.
Rates may be adjusted with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. Continued use of services after notice of a rate change constitutes acceptance of updated pricing.
Recurring service pricing assumes consistent service frequency and that the property condition remains materially similar between visits. Missed visits, extended gaps, or changes to frequency may result in pricing adjustments.
8. Recurring Services
Recurring services continue until cancelled by either party in accordance with these Terms.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, scope, or scheduling if property conditions materially change or if service frequency is altered.
9. Memberships, Credits & Promotions

10. Damage, Breakage & Liability
We are not responsible for damage resulting from:
Clients are responsible for notifying us in advance of fragile items, specialty surfaces, or areas requiring non-standard care.
11. Windows, Water & Structural Conditions
We are not responsible for leaks, water intrusion, or damage caused by faulty or deteriorated seals, improper installation, structural deficiencies, rot, corrosion, aging materials, or windows and doors that are open or unable to close properly.
Exterior and window-related services are performed with the understanding that such services involve inherent risks related to property condition, materials, age, and environmental factors. Additional terms may apply through service-specific addendums.
12. Health & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or pose a risk to our staff.
This includes but is not limited to aggressive animals, unsecured pets, hazardous materials, excessive clutter, mold, biohazards, or unsafe access conditions. In such cases, the visit may be treated as a same-day cancellation.
13. Staff Authority
Our staff and cleaners are not authorized to modify these Terms or make binding promises on behalf of the company. Any exceptions must be approved in writing by management.
14. Documentation
We may take before-and-after photos for quality assurance, training, or dispute resolution purposes.
15. Termination of Service
Either party may terminate services at any time by providing notice.
Termination does not waive any outstanding balances or applicable cancellation fees. Upon termination, all unused or future credits, benefits, discounts, and rate protections are immediately forfeited and have no cash value.
16. Waiver of Enforcement
Any waiver, exception, delay, or accommodation granted by us on a particular occasion with respect to any provision of these Terms of Service does not constitute an ongoing waiver of our right to enforce these Terms fully and strictly in the future.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with any applicable addendums, constitute the entire agreement between the client and New Home Cleaning and supersede all prior verbal or written representations.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
20. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of services after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
